Morning Goblin

I woke up this morning and opened my eyes to see a shadows and lights reflecting off a glass plate I have in my house. I was dazed and confused. It looked just like a monster. I jumped out of bed to grab my pencil and paper to sketch it before the vision left my head. I scared my partner when I did that. He said, "What are you doing?" and I said, "I see a monster and I have to draw it." Needless to say, he was super confused. Here is the little goblin!

Poltergeist Clown

My partner puts on a haunted house every Halloween. This year I made a video trailer for the website and I got the idea to illustrate this scene of the clown from the movie Poltergeist laying on top of the TV that plays the trailer.

It's my favorite time of year! The crisp air is awesome but I also love the kooky-spooky stuff that pops up in the stores too. There is something so whimsical and magical about October.

Vampire 2

I went to bed last night thinking how I didn't like the background of the original image. I got up this morning wanting to fix it but then I lost my drive to do it. So, a quick color change and a crop-job makes me happy for now.

Sketch Stuff

This is a quick ink sketch I did freehand while looking through the 2008 13th Hour Magazine. This is an monster designed by a company called Creature Feature.
On New Year's Eve we made some noise-makers out of paper plates and popcorn kernels. (Thanks for the idea the Today Show!) So I drew Po, the Kungfu Panda on mine for my second cousin, Jamison. He's 4-years old. Scadoosh! It's just in Crayola marker and it appears a splash of champagne got on it. LOL

IF - Clandestine

For all of you "Wicked the Musical" fans, here is a quick sketch of Glinda the Good Witch singing "Popular". I had Kristen Chenoweth in mind for the face. She originated the roll.

The song has the word "clandestine" in it for those who may be confused as to why I chose this for IF. I want to ink & color it but I don't have time this week. I'm sure I'll finish it some day.

Stuff I Sketched Yesterday

I was snacking on nuts.I drew this bee off of the deck of cards I was playing with.

This crab looks weird because I sketched it from a toy crab. It's one of those that you put in water and it grows.

My dog, Madison. She was looking so cute on "pride couch". It's her little "pride rock" from Lion King.
