This is a piece I did quite a few years ago but just stumbled across it in my portfolio and realized I really liked it and should make it available as a print. This was inspired by one of my favorite beaches, Trunk Bay, located in the Virgin Islands. In the mid-90's I was a dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines and got to go to all sorts of tropical locations. Sitting here in Michigan, I wish I was there now! I had such a great time as a cruise ship dancer. I met great people and had a great time. I worked cruise ships from the age of 19 to 23. I've included one of my cast photos from the Carnival ship, the MS Celebration, which Carnival no longer owns. The cast photo was taken in 1995. I'm the guy on the far left.

ReplyDeleteHi, Andy! Great work! I, too, am from MI - born and raised, but living in WV since last Oct. It's cold here, too, but I don't envy your weather this winter! I'd definitely want to be back on a cruise ship, too!
